This course is designed for those who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in plyometrics and agility training techniques to improve strength, power, speed and jumping ability. The type of training we will cover is widely used by strength and conditioning specialists and coaches across the globe.

Plyometric exercises are fast, powerful drills that help improve your agility, or ability to change direction quickly.

These drills require your muscles to generate force rapidly to accelerate and decelerate your body (quickness), which is important for most sports; especially football, basketball, cricket, tennis, volleyball and even hockey.

  • Teach safe and effective plyometrics and agility sessions

  • Design a plyometrics and agility session

  • Teach the plyometrics techniques

  • Know how to motivate participants

  • Includes warm-up and cool-down, timing, intensity and relevant exercises

  • Maximise force and minimise time in plyometrics and agility sessions

  • Use plyometrics to help your clients achieve their potential in power, speed and strength

  • Understand the mechanics of the vertical and linear jumps

  • Work as a PT with athletes to improve their performance and abilities

  • Collaborate with coaches and PE teachers in designing training sessions aimed at improving strength, power, speed, jumping, coordination and balance

This course is open for everyone who wants to improve their teaching skills and general knowledge in the field, walking the path of development and reach excellence.

Course hours that require 100% attendance: 6.5 hours during one weekend day 

All materials will be provided to you via email after the completion of the course. 

No examination is required.

IMPORTANT

Participants must attend 100% of the course in order to receive the Certificate.

CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

After the successful completion of the course, the participant may:

  • Implement the knowledge gained in the area of their expertise such as Gym Instruction, Personal Training, Studio Instructors, etc.
  • Use the acquired knowledge towards their main Diploma qualification

All PFS qualifications meet industry standards that have been developed and published by the European Health & Fitness Association (EHFA).

ProFi UK ensures that all standards used are mapped to and meet all appropriate international standards where possible, to ensure all ProFi UK students benefit from recognition of their status from other international bodies.

Payment Rules:

  • We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis with no exceptions.
  • We allow only 10 places per course.
  • To secure your place on the course the payment should be made upon registration.
  • We allow 5 calendar days to receive payment before your place is given to another person that has paid.
  • After 5 calendar days have passed, and we haven't received any payment, you will need to register again if places are still available.
  • There is no possibility to extend the 5 calendar day period. Registrations are not accepted if you have already registered and the initial 5 days have not elapsed.
  • If we have received a late Early Bird payment (i.e. you registered for Early Bird but we haven't received a payment within 5 calendar days) you will be switched to the Regular Price as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. No exceptions will be made.
  • If you have signed up at the Regular Price or Early Bird price and we haven't received the full amount from you before the start of the course, then you will be subject to Instalment payments.

Regular Price

Payment must be made in full and received by us before the course starts. Please take into account that bank transfers may take time and we operate on a first come first serve basis with no exceptions as outlined in PAYMENT RULES.
