And in order to make this course more comprehensive, we have now added aspects of exercising during pregnancy to have the knowledge when working with Personal Training clients who wish to continue exercising during pregnancy.
The areas covered include:
This will allow you to help improve your client's quality of life by alleviating issues such as chronic back pain, headaches, breathing issues, muscle stiffness, neck pain, and digestive issues. You will also be knowledgeable in the limitations of the pregnant client and be aware of the contraindications.
This course will also provide a fantastic opportunity for new and existing clubs to train or re-train their staff to become exquisite at client inductions by taking correct measurements and tracking progress. This will result in a higher likelihood of membership retention by clients.
The course covers how to accurately and correctly obtain client information and measure their progress by checking their ability to pass tests specifically designed to gather data.
An extremely helpful tool for all types of fitness professionals as the data obtained can be used to track progress, therefore evidently show where the client is currently at when they start and how much improvement they have achieved, whilst training with the professional. This is a magnificent motivational tool!
As Fitness Professionals we know the benefits of remaining active during pregnancy but we may not feel comfortable dealing with clients in this area. This course aims to give you both the knowledge and skills to train the pregnant client and those returning to exercise postpartum.
With increased competition in the Fitness Industry, it is important as a Trainer to up-skill, stay with the trends and identify your ‘Niche’ area. Exercise during Pregnancy and Postpartum is a skill area that a lot of trainers may lack and hence see a drop off in clientele during this time.
The course will provide a deeper insight to the current guidelines and recommendations for the pregnant client. You will learn how to implement these guidelines in a safe, effective manner. You will receive clarification on the correct advice and exercise programming to provide your client with; during pregnancy and postpartum. Learn how to adapt your fitness classes and personal training sessions for the pregnant client. What exercises can and cannot be implemented into their exercise regime, what intensity level is recommended at each trimester and much more.
This course will also cover the physical and psychological needs of the client during pregnancy or postpartum. Nutritional needs at each stage of pregnancy will also be identified. Following this course and its many aspects, you will obtain extensive knowledge within the area of exercise during pregnancy.
